The 2010 edition of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo celebrated 60 years of performances. Bigger and better than ever before, the 60th anniversary performance featured incredible military bands from around the world with highlights including The Polish Highlander Bridgade, the irrepressible New Zealand Army Band, The Band of The Brigade of Gurkhas and the Royal Jordanian Armed Forces playing traditional music from the Middle East.

Complimenting these eclectic and dynamic performances were the traditional Tattoo performers, the Massed Highland Dancers, the Lone Piper high atop the castle battlements and of course the thrilling sight of the Massed Pipes & Drums as they make their way out of the castle down the drawbridge to the esplanade.
